About Elm Fork Water Restoration
Elm Fork Water Restoration is named for the Elm Fork of the Trinity River, which runs through Denton County and feeds Lewisville Lake, the water that ties together Frisco, Little Elm, The Colony and the cities around them.
What we do
We're a referral service for water damage. When you call or send a request, we connect you with an independent local water damage restoration company that serves your city, so you're not calling down a list of national franchises in the middle of the night. That company inspects your home, gives you its own estimate, and does the work under its own terms.
What we don't do
- We don't perform extraction, drying, mold remediation or reconstruction ourselves.
- We don't adjust or negotiate insurance claims, and we don't offer to pay, waive or rebate deductibles.
- We don't do mold remediation. For mold covering 25 square feet or more, Texas requires a TDLR-licensed mold remediation contractor; we refer those jobs to licensed companies.
What we ask of the companies we refer
We aim to refer homeowners to companies that carry insurance, use trained technicians, document their drying with moisture readings, and give written estimates before work starts. You should still check for yourself: ask for a certificate of insurance and about training, such as IICRC water damage certification, and read the work authorization before you sign it.
